It is relatively simple to install a Central Vacuum into any house - old or new, large or small. The process is non-invasive and can usually be completed in a relatively short time.

Installation & ease of use

Allegro systems are designed to suit any size and style of home. The system can be installed during construction of a new home or at any time in the future. Installation takes just a few short hours.

Discreet inlet valves are conveniently located so you can reach every inch of your home with minimal effort.  Just connect the lightweight 9 meter hose to any conveniently located inlet. No heavy unit to pull, push or drag up stairs and no electrical cords to keep tripping over

Another nifty little feature is the VacPan™ - a built-in dustpan that is activated by an on/off kick switch.  Simply sweep dirt over to the floor inlet and it's gone.

Installation Procedure:

A typical installation - for a home that is being newly built - is done just after the first compaction has been completed.  The vacuum piping is embedded in the layer of sand and is extended upward to about knee-height where the inlets are situated.  Walls are built around the extensions and just before plastering starts, the wall plates and plaster guards are attached.  After painting and most building work have been completed, the inlet valves are installed as well as the power unit.  The VacPan™ is installed while the kitchen cupboards are being installed. The 9 meter remote control crush-proof hose and accessories (floor tool, rug tool, upholstery nozzle, dusting brush, crevice tool, hard wood floor nozzle, hose rack, 2 chromed wands) are handed over when all building work has been completed and a demonstration of how the system works and should be treated will be given.
