The system is normally installed during the building of your new home, but can also be installed in existing homes. Pipes will be built into the walls (for existing homes, the pipes will run above the ceiling). The power unit (vacuum machine) will be installed in the garage or basement with wall inlets at central, convenient locations inside your home. A VacPan^TM can be installed in the kitchen for convenient removal of dirt using a broom. A nine meter hose is inserted into the wall inlets and the vacuum is switched on and off using a switch on the hose handle.

A blockage should almost never occur. The diameter of the hose and inlet valve is less than that of the piping in the walls. We also install a sharp 90 degree bend at the back of all inlet valves (all other bends in the system are what we call sweep/slow bends) in order to catch any large object that might want to go into the system. If a blockage do occur (but as mentioned, almost never) we would use a steel tape to remove it from the system.

Allegro Central Vacuum Cleaners has a self-cleaning, no maintenance, patented Micro-Fiber Filtration System, which is permanent and never needs to be replaced or washed. The dirt collection canister must be emptied every 3 or 4 months.

In an existing home tubing will run above the ceiling and if possible, go down inside built-in cupboards and then through the walls to central locations. If necessary and if possible the 50mm tubing will be chased into the wall - this will mean re-plastering and painting.

10-Year No charge Parts Warranty

For models: MU4400 and MU6000
This guarantee applies to the entire power unit, including the blower motor, permanent filter(s), gasket(s), and electrical components. Within the first 10 years from the date of purchase, should any of the above parts prove to be defective or inoperative due to faulty workmanship or materials, simply bring it back to your Authorized Retailer, where, at their option, replacement or repair of such parts will take place fast and absolutely free. This guarantee covers the entire Power Unit except motor brushes, which are guaranteed for a period of three years.
For model MU3300, the same guarantee applies for 7 years only.

To validate any no-charge repair or replacement, simply present your original Bill of Sale. Manufacturers guarantee applies to residential applications only. The product shall not have been previously altered, repaired, or serviced by anyone other than a service facility authorized by Allegro Central Vacuum Systems. The serial number on the product shall not have been altered or removed. The product shall not have been subjected to a misuse or abuse or operated contrary to the instructions contained in this manual. Allegro Central Vacuum Systems is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damages arising from use of our system.

1-Year No charge Labour Guarantee

For a period of one year from purchase date, should any defect in material or workmanship appears. The Authorized Retailer will repair or replace (at our option) such part(s) at no labour cost to the original purchaser.

1-Year on all Accessories

Within on full year from the first purchase, if any of our accessories fail to function due to faulty workmanship or material, simply bring it back to your Authorized Retailer where we will replace or repair it (our option) fast - and absolutely free.

Life time Guarantee against Corrosion Perforation

The finest quality paint finish is used on the interior and the exterior of the entire unit. These quality coatings are so durable that, for as long as you own your home, the entire body and pail are guaranteed against Corrosion Perforation caused by faulty workmanship or materials. Simply return any such parts to your Authorized Retailer, who will give you a replacement - at absolutely no cost to you.
